As a Quality Assurance Engineer I, you’ll be testing web and desktop apps to catch bugs and make them better. Your Day-to-Day
- Dive into testing web and desktop apps to make sure they’re smooth and bug-free.
- Play with QA tools like Selenium for automation and JIRA for tracking tasks and bugs.
- Write some basic SQL queries to check data and make sure everything’s on point.
- Take on simple to mid-level tasks solo, showing you can handle things like a pro.
- Stick to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to keep projects running smoothly.
- Team up with Agile squads to deliver killer projects, especially in automation and PHI solutions.
- Do a bit of scripting to make testing faster and easier.
- Share ideas to make apps and testing processes even better.
- Keep your testing notes clear and organized for the team.
- Chat with teammates to solve problems and hit deadlines together.

What You Need to Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or something similar (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience testing software, especially web or desktop apps.
- A basic understanding of QA processes and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Some experience with testing tools like Selenium and task trackers like JIRA.
- A solid home setup with good internet and a quiet spot to work.
