Imagine testing the platforms that keep Verizon’s customers and teams happy, like the My Business website or the My Verizon for Business app. As a Software Development Engineer II – QA, you’ll be on the My Business & B360 User Acceptance team, making sure every update is clean and ready to roll. This job’s perfect for someone with a bit of QA experience who’s pumped to test user experiences and work solo when needed.

You’ll be writing test cases in qTest, jumping into project meetings, and helping make UAT processes even better. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Writing and running test cases in qTest for every release to keep things on point.
  • Sneaking into grooming calls to stay tight with project teams.
  • Tweaking UAT processes to match the best in the game.
  • Breaking down metrics and sharing insights for projects and releases.
  • Juggling multiple releases, apps, and tasks like a boss to stay on track.
  • Being ready on release days to spot big bugs before the workday starts.
  • Working with pillar leads and project owners to test their stuff thoroughly.
  • Logging defects in JIRA and teaming up with the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) crew to close them out.
  • Running regression tests to make sure new updates don’t break the old stuff.
  • Dropping feedback to make platforms smoother and more user-friendly.

What You Need to Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience.
  • 2+ years of QA or testing experience.
  • Experience handling multiple software or automation projects.
  • Some know-how of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
  • Ability to work hybrid in Hyderabad or Chennai with a solid commute.
